I've thought, recently, that there is a lack of collaboration among our fellowship when it comes to worship sets and music/matieral. I think it would be awesome to collaborate on such a thing. I know that when I lead a service, I prayerfully try to choose songs that flow together in theme or thought so that worship can flow... seamlessly... purely... allowing Jesus to do His thing.
I understand, also, that even among Christian churches there are such grand differences in ideas about what is "worship material". I tend to stay away from "concert-ish" songs, personally, and focus on congregational choruses and/or call & response material. Additionally, every church has very different service orders- for example, some churches may sing 5 songs straight for worship, while others may have 2 separated by another, etc. etc.
So, my question... What would be a good forum to share these ideas?
